12 Years of Rage

12 Years of Rage

12 YEARS OF RAGE

Hear the war winds blowin’,
the calm before the storm.
Hear the war winds blowin’,
Death comes at dawn.

And, in the end, nobody wins.

Smell all the death that surrounds us,
the Innocent will never be heard;
Smell all the death that surrounds us,
their war was so absurd.

And, in the end, nobody wins.

12 years of rage, was it worth the cost?
12 years of rage, we all weep for the loss;
12 years of rage, their excuses are growin’ thin;

And, in the end, nobody wins.

Hear the war winds blowin’,
the calm before the storm.
Hear the war winds blowin’,
Death comes at dawn.

Back cover imageJust Passing Through – Written with longtime friend and guitarist, Glenn Schwartz, in mind, our reach may have exceeded our grasp in this tune. Inspired by Sergei Prokofiev’s, Peter and the Wolf, the Lead Guitar track is intended to represent the “Pilgrim” of the song even as instruments of the orchestra portrayed the characters of that 1936 Children’s Symphony.
